To maintain a high level of service, I try to manage my regular client list to be a carefully selected number of businesses. My clients are like-minded, straight-forward and ambitious, and I try to invest as much in them as they do in Infiniti Mixed Media.
Rather than being a sort of design and print 'shop', I operate Infiniti Mixed Media as a business to business design service. This means that the emphasis is more on designing and developing solutions for marketing and business promotion, as opposed to just creating stand-alone jobs like a one-off sign or van graphics. My clients benefit from this approach by receiving a more consistent overview of how they present their business image, instead of limiting the consideration and design input to only a partial aspect of the business. This is ideal for businesses that require more design and marketing input than their local printer has to offer. It is still possible to undertake stand-alone jobs when required, but it is far more cost effective for a client to combine design jobs to take advantage of the savings in sharing design ideas and styles. For example, a client may have a logo designed and combine this with a business card and letterhead design, to produce a better overall result than taking the logo to a printer and have them lay out the stationery... "My clients are straight-forward, like-minded and ambitious..." This comprehensive approach doesn't necessarily suit all types of businesses, and I can determine at an early stage whether you would be better served by this specialist custom design service, or by dealing directly with a newspaper, printer or sign-writer. Infiniti doesn't profit from it's clients by reselling goods like printed material and signage. I would much prefer to make a living providing value for money design work, on which I place great emphasis on quality and satisfaction. As a result of this, my clients are able to benefit from direct access to suppliers, or provide their own preferred supplier, often handled by Infiniti with no agency rate mark-up costs.
