As a reaction against the now prevalent use of the buzz-term SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) by people with little or no web design/webmastering experience, I have selected a few video blogs here from the archive of Web Pro News.

The term is used far too much by the wrong people, who often don't really understand what it is or what it takes, so a little bit of accurate information here will go a long way. Do not think of SEO just as a feature of your website, there is no optimisation button that we can click to perform this operation. It is a complete philosophy and approach to how you go about building, writing and developing your content, and is not necessarily something that you can retro-fit into an existing site. Often it is better to build from scratch.
