Who owns the copyright of the design when it is finished? Ah well, that's the good news: You do. Once the design is paid for, we transfer the copyright to you, which means you can then do what you please with the artwork. So, if you wanted, you could take the logo that has been designed by Infiniti Mixed Media to a printers and have them work up and print stationery, or to a signwriter and have them put it on your van. If you wanted. We would suggest though that you let us continue to make these design decisions for you so that we can continue to apply our skill and experience to your corporate image, but you are under no obligation. The source files for all jobs are retained by Infiniti Mixed Media however, they are internal files and are the tools that we use to create your final artwork. If you require the source files, this will need to be negotiated on a job by job basis. |
