AMENDMENTS
An allowance within all estimates is made for amendments as it is a valuable part of the design process. However, sometimes circumstances arise when corrections are made that have not been allowed for. These are called authors corrections and are usually charged in addition to standard amendments. FINAL ARTWORK After a final set of proofs, when the client has 'signed off' the work done, the artwork is now prepared for production. This is essential for smooth printing or web delivery, and involves checking that the final artwork meets necessary criteria for production. PRODUCTION
The work is now produced in the desired medium, and in the production of most media, a production proof is usually supplied for the client to sign off for the suppliers own procedure. In the case of websites however, the final delivered solution are the files that have already been signed off, so the production process involves uploading, configuring and testing online. DELIVERY As it sounds, delivery is the end of the design process. Whether it is a physical delivery of goods or a web-delivered launch phase, the design work is available to the client to be used for its intended purpose. |
