Getting Started - Design Consultation
Since Infiniti Mixed Media is a small business, I am currently unable to offer the design consultation as a free service and it is charged as a fixed fee of €100+vat for the time used. However, should the consultation result in the development of a website, this fee is then deducted from the final cost of the job. In my experience, the free consultations that other businesses may offer are merely an opportunity to demonstrate a hard sell of their own products or services, rather than an objective overview of what your business really needs. We can discuss any matters that you choose, and I will do my best to explain the ins and outs of the design process as clearly as possible in real english - that you don't need a degree in design or marketing to understand! "An objective overview of your design and marketing needs." For instance;- you may think that you need to spend a great deal on a website, when a modest but well designed web page would actually meet your needs at the fraction of the cost. Or feel that you need a large glossy brochure when in reality a series of smaller, more informative leaflets could provide a better return. Any ideas that arise during the consultation are yours, and you are free to use them without obligation. The entire process of presenting your business to a third party is often extremely productive, as it is this 'external' impression that is currently being experienced by your customers.
